This is me after having mala for 2 consecutive days 😂
It's so difficult to find good and cheap mala! Usually there are a lot of weird stores that go by weight and not by portions and please la, who can eyeball how much is 100g of MUSHROOM?
And they want to charge you extra for the base? Bitch please. I cannot imagine how one mala meal can end up being $16. Such a horror.
If you're looking for not bad and cheap mala, you can try the one at Pasir Ris MRT!
Opposite Koi and it costs $1 for one portion (they will take for you) of veg and $2 for meats and $3 for seafood. No extra charge for base!
Can try the soup one also! It's more of a thick broth 😂
Eating mala makes me miss Shanghai so much
I used to LIVE on malatang in Shanghai haha.
Would eat it like twice a day 😂😂😂 but I generally only like all the veggie and don't drink the soup much so I guess I'm safe? 😂
Plus they actually deliver it to your place and at only $3 SGD for like 10 kinds of ingredients. SHIOK!!!
On the topic of food, can I also just say that I am crazy addicted to bacon wrapped asparagus lately??
I'd buy a whole pack of asparagus and bacon and just throw them in the oven and eat them all. Wtheck.
Super unhealthy but SO SO GOOD? I refuse to pay $2 for a stick at Tori Q so home made 😂
Some more $5 worth of ingredients can get me about 13 rolls 😂😂✨✨✨ #worthit #dayrefatties
Interrupting this post to say that we just put up some new designs on the site today!
There's a scalloped edge halter bralette in navy that's made of the same material as the Love Me Tender. Very functional piece for backless dresses!
Then there's a padded piece in dusty lilac/pink and black!
And finally, my favourite from this launch, a keyhole piece in multiple colours!
Super cute la this one! The lace has a little bit of a starry print to it and Iike the deep V cut and the little keyhole opening ✨
The back is super cute also! This is a the teal and it also comes in navy, burnt orange, black and olive!
Does anyone here eat Jackfruit seeds? 😂
It looks like this and I usually eat it boiled
I CRAZY LOVE IT!!! 😂😂
I think I'm the only one in the family that lives it like crazy. It tastes nutty and has a chestnut like texture.
I like it more than Jackfruit 😂😂
I've been using this Catrice concealer for awhile now and I find it awesome!
I've completely removed foundation from my makeup routine and am only using concealer and loose powder as a base now.
It came in handy cos I had a breakout recently and my face had a huge spot. 😒🚫
This concealer is super creamy and easy to blend! I don't have a lot to compare to but I really quite like this one la 😂 #dayrebeauty
Remember my lip colour here??? ✨
WELL, I'm damn excited cos I'm heading to BKK for a short trip (non work related) this weekend and I cannot wait to stock up on this!
I have fallen hard for the Oh My Matte liquid lipsticks from BKK and I'm going back for more colours ✨✨😍
We keep going back to BKK haha. And a lot of people ask if we go there to restock but uh, no la!
This and the previous trip has been a purely no work, and personal trip!
The reason why I keep going back is because I'm a very uh idk how to describe it. I'm not religious in the traditional sense, but I believe that there is a greater force in the universe that knows much more than we do.
I think I've explained it before in previous posts.
Basically I don't particularly favour a certain religion, but I believe in a higher power.
And I believe that all the religions are basically like "portals" for us to connect with that particular higher power…?
And the portal I am most accustomed to is the Buddha in BKK because my parents are very faithful and they visit this temple in particular.
So every time I have issues I cannot solve, or if I seek advise, or if I just feel uncertain/uneasy. I will want to head over there.
It makes me feel anchored and it gives me something to hang on to.
For a while in my life, I didn't believe in any higher power and it really got a little unsettling after awhile. To think that nobody knows more than you do, and that nobody has any plan laid out for anyone.
I think it's important to believe in something to get through life with sanity intact. Some believe in religion, some believe science will explain all one day, some abit of both.
And that's ok.
After, life would be too difficult to live if there was nothing to believe in anyway.
Ok enough with the heavy stuff! Hehe.
Lucky for me, the portal I choose happens to be in a country with awesome food and shopping. No better way to rejuvenate the spirit 100%!!!
